Problem Using The Source Code.

Aug 24, 2010 at 9:40 AM

Hello,

I have download the Blake.NUI project, but it is not running at my side. I have Windows 7 (64 bit), Visual Studio 2010, Microsoft Surface SDK Installed at my side. Project has missing reference Microsoft.Surface.  Also I am getting the errors like Blake.UNI.WPF.Surface.SurfaceTouchDriver.Contact is a property but used like type.

Please provide the solution for the same.

Hi Deepak,

To compile the entire solution you will need both Surface SDK (v1.0) and Surface Toolkit (v1.5) installed.

Surface SDK SP1 Workstation Edition can be found:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=3db8987b-47c8-46ca-aafb-9c3b36f43bcc&displaylang=en

Surface Toolkit can be found:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=801907a7-b2dd-4e63-9ff3-8a2e63932a74&displaylang=en

Double check the references to Microsoft.Surface.* to make sure that they are the correct version. You can see the version by clicking the reference and looking in the property pane (or pressing F4). The Surface project should reference v1 and the SurfaceToolkit project should reference v1.5. The reference assemblies are located in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft SDKs\Surface.

Thanks,

Josh
